About The Position

Caliber Collision is hiring an Auto Mechanic at its Forestville Service Center. The role tests and adjusts repaired systems to meet manufacturers’ performance specifications; repairs and/or replaces engine components, brake systems, steering and air bag systems; performs vehicle alignments; and tests components and systems using equipment such as computerized diagnostic devices. Auto Mechanics are expected to repair vehicles thoroughly, safely, and profitably in accordance with Caliber and OEM standards, using state-of-the-art equipment. The position can make up to $40.

Requirements

3+ years of automotive repair experience.
Must currently have or be willing to obtain the proper tools to successfully complete assigned job duties.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must be eligible to work in the U.S. with no restrictions.
Ability to perform consistent physical activity, including reaching below and above shoulder level, kneeling, bending, squatting, and lifting objects over 50 lbs.
Ability to read and understand instructions, written estimates, and work orders.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work through competing priorities and adapt easily to a fast-paced environment.
Ability to provide personable, friendly customer service to internal and external customers.
