About The Position

Caliber Collision is hiring an Auto Mechanic at its Service Center in Forestville. The Auto Mechanic tests and adjusts repaired systems to meet manufacturers’ performance specifications; repairs or replaces engine components, brake systems, steering systems, and air bag systems; performs vehicle alignments; and tests components and systems using equipment such as computerized diagnostic devices. Repairs must be completed thoroughly, safely, and profitably in accordance with Caliber and OEM standards, using state-of-the-art equipment. The position pays up to $40; the posting does not specify the pay period or currency.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of automotive repair experience.
• Must currently have or be willing to obtain the proper tools to complete assigned job duties.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without restrictions.
• Ability to perform consistent physical activity, including reaching below and above shoulder level, kneeling, bending, squatting, and lifting objects over 50 pounds.
• Ability to read and understand instructions, written estimates, and work orders.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to provide personable, friendly customer service to internal and external customers.
