About The Position

This is a part-time, intermediate-level auto technician role where you will perform light-duty auto maintenance and improve your skills in a supportive environment. You will gain familiarity with auto maintenance concepts and practices, performing various maintenance duties and repairs on vehicles.

Requirements

• 1 or more years of related work experience.
• The ability to drive standard, automatic and electric vehicles.
• Safe drivers needed; valid driver’s license required.
• Must clear a pre-employment drug test.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer without current or future sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Perform auto maintenance duties, including oil and filter change, fuel filter change, transmission flush, spark plugs and vehicle inspection.
• Perform battery testing, maintenance and replacement and testing and repairing of starting and charging electrical systems.
• Perform various repairs including tires, safety inspections and interior/exterior components.
• Diagnose and repair brake systems, steering and suspension systems.
• Perform an evacuation and recharge on the AC system.
• Perform maintenance on equipment.
• Utilize approved vendors to obtain parts.
• May up fit new vehicles with necessary equipment.
• Complies with applicable procedures and regulations regarding recyclables, fluids, tires, and disposable trash.
