About The Position

HNS Recovery is seeking an experienced Automotive Locksmith Technician to support its collateral recovery services for lenders and financial institutions as the company expands throughout Texas. The role involves maintaining compliance with customer and company policies, caring for equipment and inventory in an assigned company vehicle, submitting photos, invoices, and work orders through an invoicing system, decoding locks with Lishi tools, and cutting and programming vehicle keys. Pay is described as $1,000 each week plus a per-key commission; the commission increases from $2.00 to $3.00 per key when 151 or more keys are cut monthly.

Requirements

Be at least 25 years of age.
Have a high-school diploma or equivalent.
Have a minimum of 2 years of automotive locksmithing experience.
Be punctual and responsible.
Be detail-oriented and a team player.
Be motivated and able to work without constant supervision.
Be organized and driven to meet deadlines.
Have a valid Texas driver's license with no suspension in the last two years.
Have reliable transportation.
Have a clean background.
Be able to pass pre-employment screening and unannounced drug screening during employment.
Be able to thrive in a multicultural and multigenerational environment.
Have knowledge of automotive electrical systems, key duplication, and transponder programming.
Have ignition removal experience.
Have 1–2 years of lishing experience, as stated in the posting.
Have all-keys-lost experience.
Have basic computer experience and typing skills.
Have a smartphone with a good-quality camera.
Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Be comfortable using phones, tablets, computers, cameras, and other technologies.

Responsibilities

Maintain all customer and company policies and procedures required to meet compliance.
Maintain equipment and inventory within an assigned company vehicle.
Submit photos, invoices, and work orders accurately and on time through an invoicing system.
Use Lishi tools to decode locks.
Cut and program new vehicle keys.
