About The Position

FGS is seeking a Glass Technician to join a skilled, dedicated team focused on craftsmanship, safety, and customer satisfaction. The technician installs, repairs, and replaces glass on fleet vehicles and heavy equipment, including mining trucks and commercial vans. The position involves diagnosing damage, recommending solutions, and ensuring work meets safety standards and manufacturer specifications. The technician maintains an organized work area, communicates with clients and coworkers, and travels to job sites as needed; a company vehicle is provided.

Requirements

• Proven experience in automotive or heavy equipment glass installation, or a strong desire to learn.
• Commitment to safety and attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Nice To Haves

• Certifications in auto glass installation or repair.
• Experience working with fleet vehicles or construction equipment.
