Onsite Auto/ Diesel Mechanic - Pasadena, TX

Headquartered in Baton Rouge, LA, Turner Industries has over 20,000 employees across the United States. The company is looking for experienced Auto/ Diesel Equipment Mechanics to support its fleet in the Equipment Yard located in Pasadena, TX. The successful candidate will have experience working on heavy equipment, gas/diesel engines, and hydraulic systems.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED certificate
- 5+ years of experience with diesel/heavy equipment repair
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Must be a current resident in the Houston metro area
Nice To Haves
- Post-secondary certificate or degree in engineering OR training as a mechanic is a plus
- TWIC Card preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical repairs as well as preventative maintenance
- Troubleshoot issues with diesel engines
- Determine what parts and tools are necessary to make repairs
- Complete shop paperwork
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
