About The Position

Turner Industries Group is looking for an experienced Shop Mechanic to join our team in Pasadena, TX. The successful candidate will have experience working on small engine pieces of equipment such as golf carts and tractors. This position offers: 40 Hours+ Overtime and call-outs as needed - overtime paid at time-and-a-half. Turner Industries is a fully diversified industrial contractor. Requirements

High school diploma or GED certificate
5+ years of experience with diesel/heavy equipment repair
TWIC Card
Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
Current resident in the Houston metro area

Nice To Haves

Post-secondary certificate or degree in engineering OR training as a mechanic is a plus

Responsibilities

Perform electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical repairs as well as preventative maintenance
Troubleshoot issues with diesel engines
Determine what parts and tools are necessary to make repairs
Complete shop paperwork
Maintain a clean and safe work area
