About The Position

As a Field Auto Damage Trainee, you’ll provide reassurance and solutions that make a difference in our customers' lives when they need us the most after an accident. You will inspect and assess vehicle damage, estimate vehicle repair costs, negotiate equitable settlements, and partner with body shops, rental companies, and parts providers. GEICO’s industry-leading paid trainee program includes 3 weeks of required hands-on experience at our Ashburn, VA training facility. In addition, 2 weeks in a field training center (NY, TX, CA), with mentors to help you learn and grow. Field Territory: GEICO Fleet vehicle assigned and responsible for the Salt Lake City, UT area.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Valid driver’s license that meets company underwriting guidelines required
• Strong customer service, interpersonal, problem-solving, and empathy skills
• Adaptable, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize and multitask across platforms
• Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Nice To Haves

• Customer-facing experience preferred
• Experience in high-volume call centers with KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and measurable goals preferred
• Active Adjusters license preferred (training and exam fees provided)
• College degree preferred

Responsibilities
