About The Position

GEICO is hiring an experienced Auto Damage Adjuster for the Tampa/Pinellas, Florida territory. The position requires at least 12 months of auto damage experience and a record of providing excellent customer service while settling claims promptly and accurately. The adjuster will use technical and industry knowledge to handle complex claims. This is not a remote role; the position requires work in the territory and may involve remote, field, or in-office work, with flexibility in primary work location.

The posting lists compensation of $32.05–$47.14 per hour, or $64,575–$95,000, and separately gives an annual salary range of $32.05–$49.86. A $1,500 sign-on bonus is available to candidates with an active adjuster’s license in good standing. GEICO says final compensation depends on factors including role scope, experience, education and training, work location, and market and business considerations. The company will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position.

Requirements

• At least 12 months of auto damage experience.
• Motor Vehicle Damage Adjuster/Appraiser’s License.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet company underwriting guidelines.
• Ability to maintain applicable state and federal certifications and permits.
• Willingness to be flexible with the primary work location; the role may involve remote, field, or in-office work.
• Solid computer skills, mechanical aptitude, and multitasking skills.
• Effective attention to detail and decision-making skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing, and willingness to expand those abilities.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
