About The Position

GEICO is hiring an experienced Auto Damage Adjuster for the Tampa/Pinellas, Florida territory. The role involves handling auto damage claims, including complex claims, and promptly and accurately settling them while delivering excellent customer service. Candidates must have at least 12 months of auto damage experience and a track record of success. This is not a remote-only role; the adjuster must work in the territory and be flexible about the primary work location, which may involve remote, field, or in-office work.

The listed pay is $32.05–$47.14 per hour, with an additional annual salary range shown as $32.05–$49.86 per hour and $64,575–$95,000 per year. Final compensation depends on factors including the role’s responsibilities, experience, education and training, work location, and market and business considerations. A $1,500 sign-on bonus is available to candidates who hold an active adjuster’s license in good standing. GEICO will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position.

Requirements

• At least 12 months of auto damage experience.
• Motor Vehicle Damage Adjuster/Appraiser's License.
• Valid driver's license and ability to meet company underwriting guidelines.
• Ability to maintain applicable state and federal certifications and permits.
• Solid computer skills, mechanical aptitude, and multitasking skills.
• Attention to detail and effective decision-making skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills, and willingness to expand those abilities.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
