About The Position

Classic Collision is hiring an Auto Body Shop Porter to support the daily operation of its auto body shop. The role helps keep the front office, production area, parking lots, and grounds clean and orderly; assists the detail department when needed; handles errands and vehicle pickups and deliveries; and helps protect and secure vehicles. The porter may also perform minor equipment and building maintenance or repairs. Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have a valid driver's license.
Strong communication skills to communicate effectively with the Classic Collision team and customers.
Ability to operate equipment safely and efficiently.
Must be able to meet the position's physical demands, with reasonable accommodation where applicable.

Responsibilities

Maintain daily housekeeping in the front office, including emptying garbage cans, cleaning floors, and dusting.
Help in the detail department when needed.
Maintain daily housekeeping in the production area, including emptying waste cans, sweeping floors, disposing of unwanted parts, helping clean spray booths, and putting tools and equipment in their proper locations.
Drive company vehicles for shop errands or parts pickups, and drive customer vehicles for pickups and deliveries.
Keep parking lots and grounds neat and orderly.
Perform minor equipment and building maintenance or repairs when necessary.
Protect vehicles from inclement weather.
Secure vehicles and keep vehicle keys separate and secure.
Perform other duties as assigned to meet the needs of the business.
