About The Position

Carvana is seeking an Auto Body Repair Technician to perform bodywork on multiple vehicle panels at a high-tech Inspection Center. The work includes heavy plastic welding, minor metal pulling, roof and rocker panel repair, and large-area heavy bodywork, including Bondo repair. The position requires at least three years of professional automotive bodywork experience. Carvana offers training programs for entry-level employees to support skill and pay progression.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of professional automotive bodywork experience.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license; some positions may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Records check.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment, sometimes exposed to excessive heat or cold.
• Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds independently.
• Must use required safety equipment, which may include a face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, a mask, and other protective garments and equipment.
• Hiring is contingent on passing a complete background check.
• This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
• Must be able to work mandatory overtime based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Perform heavy plastic welding.
• Perform minor metal pulling.
• Repair roofs and rocker panels.
• Perform large-area, heavy bodywork, including Bondo repair.
• Work mandatory overtime when required by business needs.
• Operate vehicle equipment and tools while following safety requirements.
