About The Position

Carvana is hiring an entry-level Auto Body Repair Technician to prepare vehicles for paint at one of its high-tech Inspection Centers. The work includes sanding, masking, taping, bagging, unbagging and tear down, and buffing. Carvana offers training programs for entry-level employees so their skills and pay can progress with the company. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., and may require overtime. Mandatory overtime may be required based on business needs. Employees work in a fast-paced, changing production environment and may be exposed to excessive heat or cold. Hiring is contingent on passing a background check. This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Requirements

At least 6 months of professional automotive prepping experience.
Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools and lift up to 60 pounds independently.
Must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid driver’s license; some positions may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Records check.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment, sometimes with exposure to excessive heat or cold.
Use required safety equipment, which may include a face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, a mask, and other protective garments and equipment.
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Must pass a complete background check.

Responsibilities
