About The Position

Dent Wizard is hiring an experienced Auto Body Paint Technician to perform automotive reconditioning at customer and partner locations. The technician travels to customers and independently completes work at dealerships, rental agencies, and auctions. Duties include paint touch-ups and full-surface repairs using advanced spray equipment and established techniques, as well as preparing, blending, and finishing vehicle surfaces. The role is 100% commission-based, with stated first-year earning potential of $50,000–$75,000 and long-term potential of $70,000–$150,000+. Actual earnings depend on individual performance, qualifications, experience, and geographic location. The position includes a company vehicle, tools and supplies, gas card, mobile phone, training, and a five-level career path. Technicians are required to wear appropriate respiratory PPE. Candidates selected for an offer undergo role-appropriate post-offer, pre-employment screening.

Requirements

At least 5 years of hands-on experience in collision repair or bodywork.
Strong attention to detail and color accuracy.
Self-motivation, grit, and a strong work ethic.
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Strong communication skills and a customer-first mindset.
Ability to kneel, bend, squat, and lift up to 45 pounds.
Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
Ability to wear the appropriate respirator and personal protective equipment.

Responsibilities

Travel to customers to perform automotive reconditioning, from paint touch-ups to full-surface repairs.
