About The Position

Dent Wizard is hiring a Paint Technician to perform automotive reconditioning at customer and partner locations. The role involves traveling to customers and working independently at dealerships, rental agencies, and auctions. Technicians perform minor reconditioning, from paint touch-ups to full-surface repairs, using advanced spray equipment and established techniques. They prep, blend, and finish vehicle surfaces, with an emphasis on quality, speed, and customer satisfaction. The position is 100% commission-based, with stated first-year earning potential of $50,000–$75,000 and long-term earning potential of $70,000–$150,000+. Actual earnings vary based on individual performance, qualifications, experience, and geographic location.

The role includes a company vehicle, gas card, mobile phone, tools and supplies, and ongoing training, including color-matching systems and certifications. Dent Wizard describes a five-level career path from Senior Tech to World-Class Tech, with bonuses and recognition at each step. Technicians are required to wear appropriate respiratory PPE in accordance with NIOSH Respiratory Protection Standards.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in collision repair or bodywork.
• Strong attention to detail and color accuracy.
• Self-motivation, grit, and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-first mindset.
• Physical ability to kneel, bend, squat, and lift up to 45 pounds.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Ability to wear the appropriate respirator and other required personal protective equipment.

Responsibilities
