Concordia is seeking a dedicated Authorization Specialist to manage insurance authorizations for our high-volume home health agencies and hospice agencies. In this fast-paced role, you will be responsible for obtaining prior and subsequent authorizations for services from various payers, ensuring smooth operations and excellent service delivery. Requirements

Exceptional Customer Service Skills
Detail-Oriented
Strong Keyboarding Skills
Ability to Work Independently
Experience with health insurance processes: familiarity with medical terminology is recommended
Proficiency in Microsoft Office: previous experience using Excel is required.

Responsibilities

Engage with payer sources to discuss clinical documentation and secure necessary authorizations.
Collaborate with clinicians to gather clinical documentation required for authorization.
Maintain accurate records and tracking of all authorizations.
Conduct daily reviews of relevant reports.
