About The Position

The Auditor is responsible for accurately checking and counting products for inbound and outbound freight. The role ensures products are free from damage and infestation, production code dates are recorded, and orders meet customer specifications for quantity, quality, labeling, and addressing. The position also involves reporting shipment discrepancies, supporting warehouse safety and security, maintaining an orderly work area, and participating in physical inventories.

Requirements

• Must meet material-handling equipment certification requirements.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Six months of warehousing or material-handling experience.
• Strong computer skills, including familiarity with MS Outlook and Excel.
• Outbound dock experience.
• Production, warehouse, general labor, or quality experience.

Responsibilities

• Count inbound products, compare them with the manifest, and check shipments for damage, infestation, and production code dates before storage.
• Report shortages, damages, and mis-shipments on appropriate forms and forward reports to the appropriate party.
• Sign for inbound shipments or accept signatures for outbound merchandise when specially requested.
• Check the contents of outbound freight as filled and assembled by warehouse personnel.
• Compare the quantity, quality, labeling, and address of orders with customer requirements to ensure outgoing shipments are complete and correct.
• Safely operate forklifts or other materials-handling equipment as required and assist with loading or unloading merchandise as needed.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
• Help maintain warehouse security and conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety.
• Participate in physical inventories.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
