About The Position

Nidec is seeking passionate, hard-working individuals for its production staff. The Auditor plans and performs operations using established methods, makes general setup and process-response decisions, and prepares gensets after testing. The role also involves installing components and labels, auditing gensets with check sheets, inspecting paint and order conformity, painting finished products, assisting with packing, and maintaining good housekeeping and safe work practices.

Requirements

• Ability to read and write, follow written process instructions, and record critical process information.
• At least 12 months of previous work experience in a related job.

Responsibilities

• Plan and perform sequences of operations using standard operational methods.
• Make general decisions about setup sequences and appropriate responses when process monitoring indicates an issue.
• Prepare gensets after testing.
• Install labels, door latches, silencers, and other items.
• Use check sheets to audit gensets.
• Check paint appearance and ensure units are built to customer orders.
• Paint finished products and assist with packing finished units in cycle.
• Maintain good housekeeping in the work area.
• Observe good safety practices while performing the job.
