Requirements

  • Hospitality-oriented.
  • Previous experience in hospitality or front desk operations, preferably in a night audit role.
  • Ability to work independently and stay focused during overnight hours.
  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently, especially under pressure.
  • Fully bilingual (Spanish and English).

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience with OPERA PMS, preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome all guests according to company standards, anticipate and attend to guests' service needs especially during the night shift.
  • Attend to guests at the front desk by providing the highest level of service possible efficiently, courteously, and professionally.
  • Assist with check-ins and check-outs, as well as any special guest requests during the night shift.
  • Reconcile daily financial transactions, including room charges, cash payments, and credit card transactions.
  • Prepare financial account reports and complete the night audit process in the hotel management system (PMS).
  • Prepare and deliver end-of-day reports to management.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping, security, and other departments as needed to maintain smooth overnight hotel operations.
  • Perform all duties according to hotel policies, procedures, internal rules, and standards.
  • Be knowledgeable about day and night hotel operations, review event sheets, bulletin boards, and stay up-to-date with all changes, new procedures, and events.
  • Follow all cash and banking procedures to check out all guests efficiently.
  • Be familiar with the AM/PM checklist to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Follow all company safety and security procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions to the manager; and complete safety training and certifications.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, support the team to achieve common goals.
  • Ensure uniform and personal appearance are always clean and professional.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of proprietary information.
  • Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors.
