Auditing Technician 2
About The Position
This position resides in the Business & Income Taxes Division of Department of Revenue. BIT’s auditing technicians perform a variety of duties assigned by management. Duties include conducting simple examinations of various types of tax returns, adjusting tax returns, conducting research, communicating internally and externally, and participating in the appeal process. Auditing technicians also provide support for other unit operations and complex examination activities. The position does not supervise other staff. All computer systems and tax guidelines will be trained on the job.

Nice To Haves
- One year of professional work experience in accounting, money management, banking, bookkeeping or another related field.
