About The Position

CliftonLarsonAllen, LLP is hiring an Audit & Assurance Senior for its Central Texas Construction team. The role works with construction clients and offers the opportunity to develop specialized expertise in this area. It is an in-office position based in San Antonio, Austin, Dallas, or Fort Worth, and supports a Department of Defense contract requiring U.S. citizenship.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
At least 2 years of public accounting audit experience, including financial statement preparation, audits, reviews, and compilations.
U.S. citizenship, as required for support of a Department of Defense contract.
Ability to travel to client sites, with infrequent overnight travel potentially required.

Nice To Haves

Current CPA or eligibility to sit for the CPA exam.
Prior experience with an established public accounting or professional services firm.

Responsibilities

Execute and manage construction audit engagements from start to finish, including managing budgets, planning, fieldwork, directing staff, and completing financial statements and related disclosures.
Review client accounting and operating procedures.
Develop and assess the design and implementation of internal controls.
Prepare financial statements, related disclosures, and reportable-condition correspondence letters.
Communicate technical matters proactively and effectively with staff, management, and clients.
