About The Position

CliftonLarsonAllen, LLP is hiring an Audit & Assurance Senior to join its Central Texas Construction team. The role provides the opportunity to develop specialized expertise working with construction clients. It is an in-office position based in San Antonio, Austin, Dallas, or Fort Worth, and supports a Department of Defense contract requiring U.S. citizenship.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of public accounting audit experience, including financial statement preparation, audits, reviews, and compilations.
• U.S. citizenship is required because the position supports a Department of Defense contract.
• Ability to travel to client sites, with infrequent overnight travel potentially required.

Nice To Haves

• Current CPA or eligibility to sit for the CPA exam.
• Prior experience with an established public accounting or professional services firm.

Responsibilities

• Execute and manage day-to-day audit engagement activities for construction clients from start to finish, including budgeting, planning, fieldwork, directing staff, and completing financial statements and related disclosures.
• Review client accounting and operating procedures.
• Develop and assess the design and implementation of internal controls.
• Prepare financial statements, related disclosures, and reportable-condition correspondence letters.
• Communicate technical matters proactively and effectively with staff, management, and clients.
