Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Active CPA license
  • 8+ years of public accounting audit experience
  • Experience managing audit engagements and client relationships
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and auditing standards
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and deadlines

  • Specialized experience in nonprofit, municipal, employee benefit plan, or complex assurance engagements

Responsibilities

  • Plan, supervise, and complete audit, review, and assurance engagements
  • Review engagement workpapers and financial reporting deliverables
  • Monitor engagement budgets, timelines, and overall project execution
  • Communicate significant engagement developments to firm principals
  • Ensure quality standards and professional requirements are consistently met
  • Develop and strengthen long-term client relationships
  • Gain a deep understanding of client operations, goals, and challenges
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to company leadership and stakeholders
  • Identify opportunities to provide additional value-added services
  • Deliver exceptional client service throughout the engagement lifecycle
  • Train, mentor, and develop audit staff and senior auditors
  • Provide coaching, performance feedback, and technical guidance
  • Assist with recruiting, onboarding, and retention efforts
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment
  • Help build the next generation of firm leaders
  • Assist with firm administrative initiatives as assigned by leadership
  • Collaborate with principals on strategic projects and practice growth opportunities
  • Support process improvements and operational efficiencies
  • Contribute to the continued growth and development of the assurance practice
