About The Position
We’re partnering with a growing public accounting firm seeking an Audit Manager to lead client engagements and manage audit teams. This role provides a mix of technical accounting, client interaction, and leadership within a collaborative, professional environment.
Requirements
- 5+ years of public accounting / audit experience
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and GAAS
- Prior leadership or engagement management experience
- CPA, Bachelor’s in Accounting required
Responsibilities
- Lead audit engagements from planning through completion
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, GAAS, and regulatory standards
- Review financial statements, workpapers, and internal controls
- Identify and resolve complex accounting and audit issues
- Serve as a primary client contact and provide advisory support
- Manage engagement budgets, timelines, and profitability
- Mentor and develop staff and senior team members
