The Audit & Assurance team provides traditional attestation services as well as accounting and consulting on applying accounting principles. Audit & Assurance professionals demonstrate deep specialization through an understanding of the market and business challenges their clients face and a dedication to audit quality. This specific opportunity is for talented professionals for full-time or seasonal work arrangement options. We’re looking for Audit Managers with experience in the Public Sector industry vertical. As an Audit Manager, you will further learn to lead, gain deep industry insight, and continue to grow relationships. With access to many resources and the support of executive leadership and your team, this is what your work includes: Responsibility of client relationships with a variety of clients to build positive relationships. Leading multiple teams and providing performance feedback to all members of those teams when engagements end. Your feedback is valuable. Requirements

  • 5+ years of recent and relevant public accounting external audit experience.
  • Experience working with Non-Profit and Higher Education clients.
  • Organization, communication, technical, time management, and accounting and auditing skills as you work efficiently with clients and adequately work on multiple engagements and teams.
  • Ability to interact with clients, prospects, all levels of staff, and colleagues in a professional fashion.
  • Ability to multi-task since planning, executing, and wrapping up various engagements may have to be performed concurrently.
  • Experience supervising engagement team members and instructing them on completing assigned task.
  • Must be a licensed CPA in your aligned home office state or be able to acquire a reciprocal one for that state.
  • Ability to work additional hours as needed and travel to various client sites.
