About The Position

This is a year-long industrial placement program within the Audit department at BDO, designed for second-year undergraduate students seeking a third-year work placement. The program offers hands-on audit experience, client interaction, and the opportunity to develop technical, commercial, and relationship-building skills. Participants can sit for three professional exams and log six months of practical work experience, potentially accelerating their path to professional qualification and return on the Graduate Programme. The placement starts with an organization-wide induction on Monday, September 20th, 2027.

Requirements

Be a second-year student on a four-year undergraduate degree, seeking a third-year work placement.
On track for a minimum 2:2 degree in any discipline (obtained or predicted).
Three A-levels or equivalent at grades A-C (excluding General Studies and Extended Projects) or four Scottish Advanced Highers at grade A-B.
GCSEs at grade 4 and above in Maths and English, or Scottish National 5 grade A-C.
The right to work in the UK.
Must be able to attend an organization-wide induction on Monday, September 20th, 2027.
Must live within a commutable distance of the office applied to.
