About The Position
This is a six-week Summer Internship Programme focused on Tax, offering interns the chance to learn by doing, work with clients, and build experience alongside supportive colleagues. BDO is a large organization in the UK mid-market, providing access to clients, expertise, and career opportunities. The program includes a paid, organization-wide induction in Coventry, followed by placement in the applicant's chosen office. Interns will gain practical experience in Tax, working with experienced colleagues and developing technical and analytical skills. The internship offers a closer look at different Tax areas and potential for a return offer after graduation. The program also includes workshops on values, culture, and wellbeing, alongside practical involvement in client work and intern projects.
Requirements
- Be a second-year student on an undergraduate degree, seeking a summer placement.
- A minimum 2:2 degree in any discipline (obtained or predicted).
- Three A-levels or equivalent at grades A-C (excluding General Studies and Extended Projects) or four Scottish Advanced Highers at grade A-B.
- GCSEs at grade 4 and above in Maths and English, or Scottish National 5 grade A-C.
- The right to work in the UK.
- Must be able to commit to the full six-week duration.
- Must live within a commutable distance of the office applied to.
