About The Position
Five-Star AudioVisual, Inc. is a boutique audiovisual company serving the luxury hospitality market. The AudioVisual Technical Specialist assists with the day-to-day functions of the audiovisual office and is accountable for setting up, operating, and striking audiovisual equipment for client functions. The role supports client service, operational efficiency, and profitability while following company policies, procedures, and guidelines. It also involves maintaining positive relationships with hotel clients and coworkers, using company business software, and continuing to develop audiovisual skills and knowledge. The position requires working long hours on your feet and a varied schedule. The employee must be able to consistently lift up to 75 pounds. A valid driver’s license and clean driving record are required to operate a company vehicle, and applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.
Requirements
- At least four years of experience in the audiovisual industry.
- Advanced knowledge and experience with audiovisual setups and strikes.
- Customer service or hospitality experience.
- Advanced knowledge of PC and Mac software.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work long hours on your feet.
- Ability to consistently lift up to 75 pounds.
- Ability to work a varied schedule.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record to operate a company vehicle.

Responsibilities
