About The Position
Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a potential opportunity for an Audiology Technician supporting hearing conservation and audiology services at Reid Medical Clinic at Lackland AFB in San Antonio, Texas. The role helps protect the hearing health and operational readiness of the military community by conducting screenings and audiometric tests, maintaining equipment, reviewing test results, and supporting hearing conservation programs. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with no nights, weekends, or federal holidays.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship.
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross, including hands-on training.
- Ability to perform audiometric testing and maintain equipment.
Nice To Haves
- One year of Audiology Technician experience preferred.
- Experience with DOEHRS hearing conservation systems preferred.
Responsibilities
- Conduct hearing screenings and audiometric tests.
- Calibrate and maintain audiology equipment.
- Record and review hearing test results.
- Support hearing conservation education and programs.
