About The Position

ENT & Allergy of Delaware is seeking an Audiology Assistant to join its established and growing practice in Newark, Delaware. The role supports hearing-aid services, including checks, repairs, ordering supplies and devices, patient counseling, documentation, and clinic preparation. The position involves travel between multiple in-state clinics. The practice offers a Monday-through-Friday schedule with no weekends, benefits, and paid time off, and promotes employee growth and career development.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.

Nice To Haves

At least one year of experience in the medical field is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Perform routine hearing-aid checks, warranty-expiration visits, Loss & Damage claims, and repairs.
Repair hearing aids and assistive devices in the office when possible, and send devices to manufacturers when needed.
Order hearing aids, repairs, accessories, chargers, receivers, and other items from manufacturers in a timely manner.
Counsel patients about repair warranties, manufacturer and ESCO Loss & Damage coverage, and service plan options.
Charge appropriately for parts and services.
Document patient fees and payments on hearing-aid encounter tickets and invoices, when applicable.
Ensure patients schedule appropriate follow-up visits with audiologists and audiology assistants.
Assist with hearing-aid package check-in and programming.
Keep clinical and repair rooms well stocked.
Order clinical supplies, manufacturer supplies, batteries, and office supplies as needed.
