About The Position

AHC Hospitality represents a diverse array of hotels, restaurants, and resorts, providing exceptional guest experiences. This is a part-time position requiring weekend availability, with 2nd shift hours (2:45pm-11pm). The role is responsible for the everyday operational setup and teardown of AV equipment in meeting space, ensuring guest satisfaction with audio-visual services while meeting financial responsibilities. Technicians will conduct daily tasks professionally and can test for higher technician levels which increase wages but not responsibilities.

Requirements

Familiarity with basic AV equipment.
Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
Ability to work in a catwalk.
Ability to climb a 12ft. ladder.
Ability to see all colors of the spectrum.
Ability to provide and maintain safe working conditions to avoid accidents/injury.
Weekend availability is essential.

Nice To Haves

Four-year degree from an accredited college or university.
Previous guest service experience.
Previous hotel Audio Visual experience.

Responsibilities

Setup, teardown, and operation of AV Equipment.
Provide fast and courteous service to guests.
Assist other departments with AV related issues.
Practice safety standards and report all unsafe conditions.
Accurately complete all AV related tasks on a daily basis.
Maintain a positive attitude and willingness to please the internal/external guest.
Arrive to work on time, neatly groomed and in proper uniform.
Hanging all banners.
Be ready to fill in wherever needed to satisfy the guest.
