Requirements

  • TS/SCI Clearance w/ ability to obtain CI Poly
  • Knowledge in one or more of the following areas: AMX, Crestron, and Extron A/V equipment, AMX touch panels, Camera control, Production switcher, Audio signals, Video signals, Understanding of audio mixers and speakers, Understanding of audio and video connections, Workstations (thin and thick clients), Monitors, Audio Visual Services, Voice and VTC Support Services.

  • Experience and/or knowledgeable with Windows 11.
  • Technical understanding of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook; Word; Excel; PowerPoint; etc.).
  • Team player and willing to both share knowledge and learn from others to ensure team's success.
  • Enthusiasm and ability to adapt to new and changing technologies.
  • Requires Associates Degree or an equivalent combination of years of experience and education and 3+ years of prior relevant experience.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as an Conference Center Audio Visual Liaison for all events
  • Facilitate meetings and engage regularly with customers to coordinate and plan emerging customer requirements for conference center events, address AV/IT related questions or concerns, and provide situational awareness to Conference Center stakeholders concerning upcoming maintenance of AV/IT systems or technology refresh efforts.
  • Provide live event support.
  • Maintain IT and AV equipment related to information displays, digital signage, monitors, laptops, video recording devices and other related end user devices.
  • Operate and manage equipment for presentations, sound, lighting and audio/video conferencing.
  • Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for utilization of Conference Center equipment.
  • Escalate AV/IT issues to Tier 3 when needed.
  • Provide workstation (thick and thin client), VoIP Device, and voice and video conference support, which may include resolving AV/IT incidents from cradle to grave, working closely with engineering teams and other ISP Contractor Stakeholders when AV/IT issues require Tier 3 escalation or have dependencies external to the UDS contract.
  • Provide user education and training in basic hardware and software functions.
  • Create and maintain documentation and SOPs to train new employees.
  • Identify and execute process improvements and other enhancements that improve operational efficiency.
