About The Position

MCS is hiring for an Audio Visual Technician in Panama City Beach, FL. This is a full-time, permanent position with benefits. The Audio Visual Technician must demonstrate experience with A/V, Data, Voice, Networking, and Fiber cabling. The Audio Visual Technician will require good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team setting. It is important that candidates keep abreast of industry trends and developments, as well as applicable Government regulations. Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent
Ability to obtain a Florida State JLA (Jessica Lunsford Act) Badge.
5 years of Low Voltage or Control Systems experience preferred.
Ability to travel to project sites outside of the Greater Panama City Beach Area.
Must possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Candidate must exhibit a professional behavior that promotes teamwork, fosters cooperation and enhances productivity in the workplace.
Must be well organized with the ability to coordinate, prioritize, and execute multiple tasks simultaneously.
Candidate must have the ability to communicate verbally and in writing to work effectively with various external customers including government, military, and contractor personnel at all levels.
Candidate must be able to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels of the company.

Nice To Haves

OSHA 10/30, CTS, Creston, AMX, or Extron certifications desired
A current passport is required for Overseas travel.

Responsibilities

Terminating, Testing, Soldering, and Dressing all Low Voltage Cabling.
Reading and interpreting blueprints.
Using Scissor Lifts / Boom Lifts.
Traveling to project and user locations around the Greater Panama City Beach Area.
Working flexible hours including nights and/or weekends.
