About The Position
Assist the University Audio-Visual Department with AV setups and classroom technology support. This is a technical, hands-on role where no prior experience is required as training will be provided. The position offers flexibility, allowing students to work on studies during downtime at the AV student work desk. However, it is not a good fit for students with already packed schedules.
Requirements
- Must be very team-oriented.
- Must have flexible scheduling to work during normal duty hours (Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm) and occasionally evenings or weekends.
- No experience required; training will be provided.
- Must submit resume with one work reference.
Responsibilities
- Assist with AV setups and classroom technology support.
- Load PowerPoint or other media content onto room computers and ensure it is displayed on projectors or TVs.
- Move and physically set up speaker systems, projection equipment, and connect various devices to projectors or televisions.
- Make video conference calls/connections using applications like Cisco, Webex, and Zoom.
