About The Position

The Audio Visual Specialist will contribute by configuring, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting AV/VTC systems for live events, MS Teams meetings, and other communication needs. This role requires excellent communication, organizational, and technical skills to ensure seamless event execution and customer satisfaction. The specialist will support the design and implementation of AV solutions, evaluate new technologies, and provide recommendations to leadership. They will research and recommend emerging AV technologies, exercise independent judgment to create strategies for high-profile AV events and VTCs, and set up, operate, troubleshoot, and maintain AV/VTC equipment. Collaboration with clients to identify AV requirements and deliver tailored solutions is key. The role involves utilizing Outlook calendar and ticketing systems, providing technical support, user training, and documentation. Monitoring ticket queues, ensuring timely resolution, and escalating issues are also part of the responsibilities. Developing and documenting organizational policies and frameworks for AV systems and technology usage, as well as maintaining and documenting procedures, as-built diagrams, SOPs, and job aides, are crucial. Delivering top-tier customer service through professionalism, clear communication, and technical expertise is expected. Participation in team meetings, training sessions, and brainstorming opportunities, along with assisting with special projects and after-hours support when needed, are also required.

Requirements

  • AA/AS degree required, BA/BS preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience managing conference rooms and AV systems (preferably in Government/Military environments).
  • Experience collaborating with VIPs and high-ranking professionals.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, Outlook, SharePoint, and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Experience with VTC endpoints, conference room management, and AV system technologies.
  • Active SECRET clearance required.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Effective multitasking and prioritization.
  • Adaptability under time constraints.
  • Ability to build trust and credibility with clients and team members.
  • Able to identify improvements to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Commitment to punctuality and reliability.
  • Ability to learn quickly and upgrade certifications as needed.

  • Active/Current CompTIA Security+ ce certification preferred.

Responsibilities
