About The Position

Under the direction of the Lead Audio Technician or an assigned lead or supervisor, the Audio Technician is responsible for the smooth functioning of audio equipment operations, including sound volume and quality, in accordance with MPGE entertainment department policies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED, with three to five years of experience mixing headline entertainment; or a bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Experience with a front-of-house mix board.
• Ability to hear accurately and have good close vision.
• Ability to frequently stand, walk, lean, and reach, and to moderately lift or carry weights up to 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the smooth functioning of audio equipment operations.
• Manage sound volume and quality in accordance with MPGE entertainment department policies.
