About The Position
Under the direction of the Lead Audio Technician or an assigned lead or supervisor, the Audio Technician is responsible for the smooth functioning of audio equipment, including sound volume and quality, in accordance with MPGE entertainment department policies. The position is performed in a noisy workshop environment and requires frequent standing, walking, leaning, and reaching, as well as moderate lifting and carrying of weights up to 100 pounds. Accurate hearing and good close vision are required.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED and three to five years of experience mixing headline entertainment, or a bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Front-of-house mix board experience.
- Accurate hearing and good close vision.
- Ability to frequently stand, walk, lean, and reach, and to moderately lift and carry weights up to 100 pounds.
