Under direct supervision, the Audio Student Assistant will provide support to students and faculty in open labs and classes, assist with studio production as Audio Engineer and Editor, and help with check-out equipment, maintenance, and inventory. The role involves organizing and setting up control rooms and production rooms, assisting with the organization and maintenance of equipment for check-out, and setting up microphones, recording equipment, and computers. The assistant must be able to take direction, show initiative, and be a valuable team player, working effectively with students and staff. Availability for meetings and weekend work is required. Responsibilities also include maintaining production equipment and storage, and the ability to drive to remote campus locations and carry equipment. Other duties as assigned.
