About The Position

The position operates under the supervision of the LPAC Supervisor and is responsible for one or more of the following: mixing Front of House or Monitor World audio for in-house, touring, and rental artists as required, audio system setups/mixing for outdoor events as needed, ordering supplies, and audio equipment maintenance. This position is considered non-exempt.

Deal tactfully and effectively with staff, participants and the public.
Any equivalent combination of two or more years’ education and experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary for acceptable job performance.
Familiarity with live audio mixing and stage audio setup requirements.
Yamaha CL-5 console mixing and Dante/Rio protocols.
Allen & Heath Qu24 console mixing.

Nice To Haves

Currently enrolled in a college, university, or trade school majoring in Theatre Arts, Film, Television, or a related field, is desirable.

Responsibilities

Mixing Front of House or Monitor World audio for in-house, touring, and rental artists as required.
Audio system setups/mixing for outdoor events as needed.
Ordering supplies.
Audio equipment maintenance.
May oversee Technical and Stage Assistants.
Setting audio stage plots, audio snake cabling, distro power feeds.
Ability to operate Yamaha mixing control and apps.
Basic counterweight rigging and flyrail operation skills.
Personnel lift safe operation skills.
Knowledge of audio maintenance procedures.
Experience designing for dance, music and theatre performances.
Familiar with projection audio systems.
Loading/unloading equipment, cases, gondolas, hampers from trucks.
General knowledge of theatrical stage lighting design and lighting console basics.
Assist training of Stage Assistants.
