Part Time Auction Support Specialists - Manheim (Camel, In)
About The Position
The Auction Support Specialist I supports live auction operations on-site at a Cox Automotive location, helping ensure sales are accurate, organized, and on schedule. The role tracks bids, verifies vehicle and customer information, and processes transactions in real time using the AS400 system and Salesforce. The specialist works virtually with the auctioneer, monitors Simulcast activity, and provides sale information and updates. The position requires attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under time pressure. The role may involve occasional exposure to fumes, odors, and varying weather conditions.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Generally, less than 2 years of experience.
- Ability to stand, walk, talk, and hear.
- Ability to lift up to 10 pounds.
- Vision abilities including close, distance, and color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Nice To Haves
- Previous block clerk experience.
- Auction experience.
- Automotive industry experience.
Responsibilities
- Enter lane and Simulcast bid amounts, customer data, sold units, and sale lights using the AS400 system.
- Partner virtually with the auctioneer to confirm vehicle and sale information is accurate.
- Verify run orders to ensure the correct vehicles are being processed and sold.
- Monitor Simulcast activity and communicate live updates with the auctioneer.
- Provide arbitration notes and other key vehicle announcements to support the auctioneer during sales.
- Follow up on late titles by phone and email.
- Support title-absent processing using Salesforce.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
