About The Position

Reporting to the Director of Sales & Marketing, the Auction Assistant supports a nationwide network of managers, employees, customers, and sub-contracted vendors through a variety of time-sensitive tasks to effectively liquidate federally seized assets for the U.S. government and ensure contract compliance. Must know, practice, and ensure that company policies and procedures and state or federal laws are followed.

Ability to revise and adapt to changes in policy, procedure, and law.
Enjoys working with the public.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong typing and computer skills.
Experience using Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
Honest, dependable, and eager to learn.

Responsibilities

Manage incoming auction inventory.
Digitally prepare and assign assets to upcoming auctions.
Ensure all photos are edited and all information pertaining to the sale is obtained, complete, and accurate.
Upload inventory to the website/online auction platform.
Manage assets throughout the duration of the sale.
Ensure customers and vendors receive prompt, efficient and courteous attention.
Provide customer support and technical assistance to bidders.
Prepare files and complete preliminary sale documents.
Review auction listings for discrepancies or needed revisions.
Prepare or assist with marketing material.
Email bid results and invoices.
Manage incoming payments.
Execute title work.
Submit and obtain electronic signatures.
Email inventory releases.
Mail out documents.
Generate and prepare closeout reporting.
Invoice and bill vendors.
Wire funds and submit proceeds checks.
