About The Position
McCabe, Weisberg and Conway, LLC is a women-owned law firm operating in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, DC, Virginia, and Florida. We are a high-volume, fast-paced, multi-office law firm representing Mortgage Lenders, Banks and Financial Institutions in foreclosure, bankruptcy, eviction and REO. We are nationally recognized industry leaders in the legal default servicing space. We are seeking an associate attorney in our PA office. Diverse/minority candidates are encouraged to apply.
Requirements
- Juris Doctorate
- Member in good standing in PA
- Admission to NJ bar a plus
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience with title, bankruptcy, foreclosure and/or mortgage banking is a plus
Responsibilities
- Managing and prioritizing a large caseload
- Drafting and reviewing pleadings to ensure compliance with local, state and federal laws and regulations
- Attending hearings and status conferences
- Interacting with clients, opposing counsel and MWC team members
- Providing creative solutions to complex problems to mitigate client risk
