About The Position

SourcePro Search has a fantastic opportunity for an Associate with 3-4 years of Venture Capital Fund experience, for a Top Ranked Global Law Firm. In this role, you will provide day-to-day counsel to founders and management teams of companies ranging from true startups to late-stage venture-backed businesses, and work closely with them in connection with financings, M&A and other strategic transactions.

Requirements

• 3-4 years of Venture Capital Fund experience.
• Very strong document drafting and negotiating skills.
• 3-4 years of experience in emerging technology companies.
• 3-4 years of experience in venture capital financings (convertible securities and preferred equity).
• 3-4 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions.
• 3-4 years of experience in the organization, development and counseling of early stage companies, their founders and boards.
• Well-rounded, detail-oriented, highly-motivated individual.
• Effective communicator.
• Seeks significant client contact.
• Willing to work hard toward partnership.
• Large firm experience.
• Strong academics.
