About The Position

Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP is seeking Senior-level attorneys to join its Aviation and Aerospace practice. This role involves handling sophisticated disputes for leading airlines, manufacturers, airports, lessors, and insurers across the country. The firm is recognized nationally for its Aviation Litigation practice. Attorneys will be entrusted with a diverse and challenging caseload, assuming significant responsibilities from the outset.

Requirements

• Admitted to the California bar in good standing.
• Experience in civil defense litigation in state and federal courts.
• Excellent research, writing, pre-trial discovery, and deposition skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team setting.
• Organized, self-motivated, and able to handle files with minimal supervision.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in aviation law.
• Experience in product liability.
• Experience in premises liability.
• Trial skills and experience.

Responsibilities

• Handle sophisticated disputes for leading airlines, manufacturers, airports, lessors, and insurers.
• Manage a diverse and challenging caseload.

• Conduct research, writing, pre-trial discovery, and depositions.
• Work independently and within a team setting.
• Handle files with minimal supervision.
• Travel as required.
