About The Position
As we celebrate our 125th year, McAnany, Van Cleave & Phillips, P.A. (MVP Law) is looking for an experienced attorney to join our West Des Moines, Iowa office to practice in workers' compensation defense and help us meet the needs of our growing practice. Requirements
- Minimum seven (7) years of relevant experience
- Licensed and in good standing in Iowa
- Understanding of current court-related procedures
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Collaborative and committed to working as part of a team
Responsibilities
- Manage a workers' compensation defense caseload with independence
- Successfully try cases, conduct depositions and mediations
- Effectively establish, build, and maintain relationships with all assigned clients
- Participate in marketing and business development opportunities within the firm
- Engage in a collaborative team atmosphere
- Utilize available technology to manage clients effectively and efficiently within a paperless work environment
