The Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission is seeking a highly motivated Pennsylvania attorney with exceptional writing skills for our Office of Special Assistants. This position offers a unique opportunity for professional development in the specialized field of public utility law. The Office of Special Assistants is the writing arm of the Public Utility Commission. The Attorney 2 is expected to handle all aspects of Public Utility Law, including: Rate Proceedings; Water and Wastewater Proceedings; Motor Carrier and Rail/Highway Crossing Proceedings; Telecommunications Proceedings; Consumer Issues; and Special Investigations. The Attorney 2 is expected to draft Commission orders resolving all types of pleadings and procedures, including: Exceptions to Decisions of Administrative Law Judges; Petitions for Interlocutory Review; Certifications of the Record; and Post-Relief Petitions.
