About The Position
Observes slot players within an assigned area and offers assistance, instruction, and advice on various types of machines. This role requires knowledge of diverse slot machines and the ability to correct simple machine problems. The attendant is responsible for the control and safety of issued equipment, reporting safety issues, and handling jackpot and paper fill transactions promptly and accurately with excellent customer service. They must also be knowledgeable about property events to relay information to slot players, exchange currency, and handle routine guest complaints, incidents, and machine malfunctions. The position requires identifying situations needing supervisory attention and complying with company policies. Completing necessary forms for slot jackpots and annual compliance training is also required. The work environment is diverse, fast-paced, deadline-driven, and requires multi-project coordination, prioritizing, and flexibility for last-minute changes.
Requirements
- Ability to speak English so that it can be understood.
- Must be able to read and legibly write English.
Responsibilities
- Observes slot players within assigned area and offers assistance, instruction and advice on the various types of machines in that area.
- Must be knowledgeable of the diverse types of slot machines and must be able to correct simple machine problems.
- Control and safety of issued equipment (Slot Machine Keys, Radio, Android devices).
- Report any knowledge of safety issue on the casino floor or in the building.
- Handles jackpot and paper fill transactions promptly, accurately and with a high degree of customer service.
- Must be well versed on various property events and relay same to slot players in assigned area.
- Exchanges currency for patrons using an impressed fund.
- Capable of handling routine guest complaints, incidents, and machine malfunctions.
- Capable of identifying situations that require supervisory personnel.
- Understand and comply with company and departmental directives, policies, and procedures.
- Completes CTR and SARC and W2-G forms when necessary for slot jackpots.
- Must successfully complete annual compliance training (AML, Title 31 or any essential training required).
- Maintains a clean and sanitize work environment with regards to personal safety standards when working or using equipment.
- Other duties as assigned.
