About The Position

The Overnight Attendant Assisted Living position plays a critical role in providing compassionate and personalized care to senior residents within our assisted living community, while completing overnight duties to include resident and facility laundry and environmental cleaning of community areas. This role requires an individual who can accept responsibility for completion of tasks without immediate supervision. This role ensures that residents receive unscheduled overnight support while assuring that tasks specific to the third shift are completed. This is a unique position that requires an attendant that will complete on the job training assuring that residents are properly supported as well as proper safety procedures to assure that common areas are maintained in a clean and sanitized fashion. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in assisted living, elder care, or a related caregiving role preferred, not required.
• Established orientation and training process
• Ability to pass background checks and meet state-specific requirements for assisted living attendants.
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient demeanor.
• Dependability, Good Attendance Record
• Willing to complete onsite paid training program and orientations as needed

Nice To Haves

• Housekeeping experience will be a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
• Monitor residents’ health status and report any changes or concerns to site lead/manager.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, encouraging social interaction and engagement in community activities.
• Maintain accurate records of care provided and resident progress in accordance with facility policies and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure the cleanliness and safety of residents’ living spaces and common areas, adhering to health and safety protocols.
• Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies or urgent resident needs, following established procedures.
• Shift openings: 11 pm - 7 am, weekends or a rotating schedule to best work with yours. 16 to 24 hours per week.
• Can be your perfect shift or your way to access other shift opportunities as they become available.
