About The Position

The Applicant Tracking Compliance Coordinator plays a key role in advancing MEDIKO’s mission by ensuring that every correctional healthcare site is staffed with qualified, mission-driven professionals. This position goes beyond administrative support — it is responsible for sourcing, screening, and coordinating the full-cycle recruitment process for clinical and non-clinical roles across multiple regions. The Recruiting Specialist partners closely with hiring managers and HR leadership to build strong candidate pipelines, improve time-to-fill metrics, and deliver an exceptional candidate experience from first contact through onboarding.

Requirements

  • 1–3+ years of experience in recruiting coordination, HR support, or ATS administration
  • Hands-on experience with an applicant tracking system (e.g., Paycom, Workday, Greenhouse, iCIMS)
  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple requisitions and competing priorities
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel for reporting)
  • Knowledge of recruitment compliance requirements (EEO, OFCCP, state/federal regulations) and ability to ensure adherence within ATS processes
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Human Resources, Finance, Sales, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related discipline) from an accredited institution preferred.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience in the specific functional area (e.g., HR, Finance, Sales, Marketing, Operations, etc.).
  • Demonstrated success in applying function-specific skills (e.g., employee relations for HR, financial reporting for Finance, or sales strategy for Sales) is required.
  • Knowledge of relevant industry-specific regulations, compliance standards, and best practices may be required, particularly for roles in highly regulated functions like HR and Finance.
  • Active CPR/BLS certificate required (American Heart Association/American Red Cross guideline approved), if role is located in a correctional facility.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting high-volume or healthcare recruiting environments
  • Familiarity with compliance audits, documentation requirements, and reporting standards
  • Experience with reporting and dashboard creation
  • Experience in healthcare, correctional healthcare, or a regulated industry is preferred.
  • Relevant industry certifications based on the role (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP, CPA, etc.).

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day activity within the ATS, including creating requisitions, posting jobs, and maintaining accurate candidate records
  • Review applications for completeness and ensure proper dispositioning throughout the hiring lifecycle
  • Coordinate candidate workflow stages, including interview scheduling, communication, and offer processing
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and federal/state employment regulations within the ATS
  • Maintain data integrity by auditing records, correcting discrepancies, and standardizing processes
  • Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to ensure timely movement of candidates through the pipeline
  • Generate and analyze recruiting reports (time-to-fill, pipeline status, requisition aging, etc.)
  • Support onboarding processes by ensuring candidate data is accurately transferred to HR systems
  • Troubleshoot ATS issues and serve as a point of contact for system-related questions
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve ATS efficiency and user experience
  • Ensure appropriate staffing levels by being at the right place at the right time to meet operational and contractual requirements.
  • Maintain a high standard of service delivery by supporting training and accountability initiatives aimed at providing quality healthcare in alignment with company policies and correctional facility expectations.
  • Drive operational excellence by balancing patient care needs, staff productivity, and resource allocation to support sustainable business growth.
  • Exercise responsible stewardship of budgeted and contracted services, ensuring compliance with financial, operational, and regulatory obligations.
  • Proactively identify and address challenges to maintain continuity of care, operational efficiency, and a positive reputation with facility partners.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and commitment to service excellence within the team.
  • Perform duties related to any applicable general or clinical licensure, credentials, etc..
  • Apply industry-specific laws, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and operational excellence.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain policies and procedures that align with company standards and support functional objectives.
  • Capture, analyze, and utilize data to drive informed decision-making, track performance metrics, and support continuous quality improvement initiatives.
  • Monitor budgets, control costs, and ensure responsible spending in alignment with financial goals.
  • Follow established policies, procedures, and corporate directives, ensuring consistency, accountability, and adherence to company expectations.
  • Meet deadlines, execute tasks with discipline, and proactively address operational challenges using data-driven insights.
  • Work effectively with colleagues, leadership, and cross-functional teams to achieve department and company goals, ensuring alignment and avoiding siloed work.
