About The Position

Genesis10 is seeking an ATM Lab Technician for an onsite contract opportunity with a Global Financial Institution in Charlotte, NC. This role involves supporting the configuration, deployment, and maintenance of an ATM Lab, including software installation and configuration. The technician will work with both physical and virtual ATM machines within a vSphere infrastructure to prepare hardware for testing and deploy necessary software and patches.

Requirements

Experience with planning, scheduling, and executing software installs and updates
Experience with software distribution tools (e.g., SCCM)
Networking skills
PowerShell scripting
Python scripting
Familiarity with virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) platforms
ATM hardware technician experience
Basic knowledge of AI prompt engineering

Responsibilities

Install, configure, and patch software on Windows systems
Install ATM software to both virtual and physical ATM machines
Install vulnerability patches to address CVEs on Windows
Prepare physical ATM hardware for testing, ensuring all devices are operative
Configure physical devices to support different test scenarios
Diagnose and resolve basic hardware and networking/connectivity issues
Coordinate complex repairs with on-site technicians
Install software using USB sticks and remote distribution tools (e.g., SCCM)
Initiate scripted software installs to virtual machines and remediate failures
